Pical Resort – Valamar
A Complete Wellness Experience Designed for Luxury Hospitality
The wellness project developed for the Pical Resort, Valamar Collection is a comprehensive example of how design, engineering and sensory experiences can come together in the luxury hospitality sector.
Within this new resort, Carmenta has created a sophisticated, high-performance spa area, designed to offer guests a complete and immersive wellness journey.
The project includes:
- Large-scale Event Sauna (approximately 5.5 × 5.5 m)
- Finnish Sauna
- Bio Sauna
- Salt Sauna
- Herbal Sauna
- Steam Room
- Tepidarium
- Ice Cascade
- Experience Showers
- Dedicated cabins for Rassoul rituals and Finnish sauna experiences
Each space has been carefully designed to deliver a distinct wellness experience, combining temperature, humidity, lighting and natural materials to create a seamless and progressive wellness journey.
From a design and engineering perspective, the project required the seamless integration of multiple wellness technologies, with particular attention to space planning, guest flow optimisation and technical systems integration.
Each wellness cabin was built using carefully selected materials to ensure:

- Long-lasting durability
- Resistance to humidity and intensive daily use
- Seamless aesthetic integration with the resort’s architectural concept
The Event Sauna, a centrepiece of the project, was specifically designed to host guided sauna sessions and wellness rituals, creating a distinctive focal point within the spa experience.
The entire wellness journey was conceived to meet the evolving expectations of modern luxury hospitality, where wellness is no longer simply an added amenity, but an essential part of the guest experience.
