From concept to sauna: the Carmenta production process
The production of Carmenta saunas begins with a custom 3D model created by our technical team, from which all the executive drawings for the entire manufacturing process are developed.
Wood — the quintessential natural material — is shaped through dedicated processes and combined with insulating and electronic components to create robust and high-performance structures.
Thanks to CNC technologies and a wide range of finishes, each sauna takes form with millimetric precision and is assembled complete with benches, lighting, and integrated accessories.
The result is a ready-to-install cabin where the elegance of wood meets the artisanal quality of true Made in Italy craftsmanship.
Production of Professional Steam Baths for Wellness Centers and Private Residences
Steam Bath Production Tailored to Every Taste and Desire
Carmenta Wellness has revolutionized the world of professional steam baths for wellness centers and SPAs by enhancing and expanding its production capabilities. Through continuous research and the innovative use of high-performance recycled materials such as PET—processed entirely in-house with exclusive know-how within our 7,000 m² facility—we are able to manufacture steam baths, both standard and fully custom-made, that are entirely prefabricated and prefinished, dramatically reducing installation time on site.
After applying all finishes and integrating the technological components, each cabin undergoes a thorough functional test to verify performance and safety. Our specialized technicians also provide direct training to the spa staff to ensure proper operation and simplified maintenance.
The production process begins in our technical department with the development of a detailed 3D model, where all electrical and hydraulic systems are engineered to ensure perfect functionality. From the 3D model, technical drawings are produced, and the manufacturing of the steam bath can officially begin.
The structural panels of our steam baths feature a 100% eco-friendly PET core, paired with surface layers selected from the broad Carmenta finish range, ensuring that the production of steam baths is completely eco-friendly while delivering outstanding aesthetic and functional performance.

This is why we define ourselves as true manufacturers of saunas and steam baths. Likewise, all technologies, systems, and know-how have been created and developed by our team of engineers and architects, combining technical expertise with the needs and expectations of both the market and our clients.
All Carmenta saunas, showers, and steam baths are fully finished and internally clad products, ready for installation. This is possible because our mission has always been to research and develop new forms, new materials, and new finishes.
