Inspired by the Japanese thermal bathing ritual, it is crafted from Okoumè wood, a premium and naturally water-resistant essence, worked with artisanal precision to ensure durability, comfort, and warm visual appeal.
Thanks to its integrated thermal technology, it can be configured either as an Onsen tub with water at 45°C, ideal for muscle relaxation and skin purification, or as a 5°C plunge pool, perfect for post-sauna recovery or after intense treatments.
Each tub is custom-made, with the option to integrate recirculation systems, remote temperature control, and scenographic lighting, offering guests a unique sensory experience where tradition, design, and Italian technological innovation come together in perfect harmony.

Okoumè is a fine African wood valued for its lightness, stability, and natural resistance to water. Traditionally used in marine construction, it is the ideal choice for wellness environments where wood is constantly exposed to humidity.
Its low porosity and compact grain prevent water absorption, ensuring long-term durability and structural integrity—even under extreme thermal conditions such as Onsen tubs or plunge pools.
Each Carmenta tub is crafted from selected marine-grade Okoumè, hand-finished to enhance the wood’s warm rose-toned colour and protected with natural water-repellent oils.
The result is a living, elegant, and high-performance material that perfectly balances craftsmanship, design, and technical functionality.
