Materials
Carmenta saunas are crafted using a selection of premium wood essences, carefully chosen for their aesthetic qualities and functional performance.
We use Abachi, appreciated for its low thermal conductivity and pleasant touch; Hemlock, known for its light color and elegant grain; Thermowood, highly resistant and dimensionally stable thanks to its thermal treatment; and Fir, which adds strength and natural warmth to the structure.
Each material is selected to ensure durability, heat resistance, and refined aesthetics, creating unique environments where artisanal tradition meets innovation.
THERMOWOOD
Thermowood is a thermally treated wood that undergoes high-temperature heating without the use of chemical additives. This process enhances its dimensional stability, moisture resistance, and long-term durability, making it ideal for environments subject to temperature fluctuations and high humidity, such as saunas.
It retains its natural appearance and brings timeless elegance to the sauna, maintaining its aesthetic quality even after prolonged use.

Our saunas feature an innovative chromotherapy system with high-temperature-resistant RGB LED lighting, positioned beneath the bench and behind the backrest. This solution not only creates an immersive and customizable atmosphere, but also enhances psychophysical well-being through the therapeutic benefits of colored light.
Each sauna is equipped with an elegant wooden heater guard, crafted in the same wood used for the cabin’s interior finish. This solution combines safety and aesthetics, protecting the user from direct contact with the heater while maintaining a uniform and harmonious design throughout the sauna.
All our sauna cabins come equipped with a built-in setup for a remote power-on switch, compatible with home automation systems such as Alexa or Google Home (devices not included). This feature allows seamless integration of the sauna into any smart home environment, ensuring comfort, convenience, and ease of use.
